The 20119 Shriners Freedom Bowl Classic was once again broadcast by TV ETC and Fort Sports.

This years game has Todd Picket doing the play-by-play, and Bryan Levesque (that’s me) doing color commentary.

After falling behind 14-7 at halftime, the West squad of all-stats shut out the East all-stars in the second half and pulled out the 22-14 victory. Union RB Zak Browing had a pair of rushing touchdowns for the East in the first half, while Hudson’s Bay RB Kimothy King completed a halfback pass to Columbia River WR Kevin Cotter for the West’s lone score. In the second half, Battle Ground QB Chris Paul hit Skyview WR Karl Graves for a pair of touchdowns. Skyview K Nick Phillips also kicked a field goal for the West.

The 2010 Shriners Freedom Bowl Classic was once again broadcast by TV ETC and Fort Sports.

In a game many people figured the East team would simply overpower the West team, fans were treated to a much closer game.

The East did come out on top 14-6 in the end, but both teams played well

The first big play of the game came on defense, as Evergreen DB Marvin Thomas picked off a pass from Columbia River QB Neil Daly. Following the Thomas interception the East went on a 12 play drive that covered 50 yards, however Hudson’s Bay LB Jeremy Hickman’s interception keep the game scoreless.

In the 8th Annual Shriners Freedom Bowl Classic, the East All-Stars topped the West All-Stars 14-6.

Earlier in the day, the first Clark County Youth Football (CCYF) game ended in a 30-12 Falcons win over the Jaguars. While the second CCYF game saw the Tigers top the Beavers 19-7.

The 2009 Shriners Freedom Bowl Classic was once again broadcast by TV ETC and Fort Sports.

The East struck early in the 1st quarter when Heritage Timberwolve’s Ashton Clark returned a punt 45 yards for the TD and an early 6-0 lead. Later in the 1st, the West answered with a 32 yard field goal from Dan Pershall of La Center.

Following a scoreless 2nd quarter, the game looked to be on it’s way to a great finish. However, the East wanted nothing to do with a close finish and outscored the West 26-0 on their way to a 32-3 win.
